Mari Wilcox Gilbert
Vice President-Marketing & Research
Mari Wilcox Gilbert is a marketing and public relations professional with more than 20 years of experience in working with clients in the arts, healthcare, education, nonprofit organizations and fashion arenas.
She serves as Vice President-Marketing & Research for Edifice Rex, as well as Marketing & Administrative Director for Cooper Communications. She has worked with the latter for 14 years, representing such clients as London Trust Productions, The Arts Consortium, Charter Medical Corporation, Mattel Toys, Encino Hospital, Mrs. Gooch’s Natural Foods, Polytechnic School, and more.
Her activities at Cooper Communications have included client service, focusing on collateral materials creation; marketing plan preparation and execution; special event planning; print advertising; communications audits; speakers bureaus; and more.
Her other activities include extensive volunteer work on behalf of the UCLA Film & Television Archive, the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley, the Conejo Valley School District, Acacia Elementary School, and the Conejo Valley Adult School.
Her additional public relations professional experience includes Seven Oaks Physical Therapy, White House Black Market community outreach, and CAbi, Inc. She has created strategic or marketing plans for Seven Oaks Physical Therapy and Petersen Pierre, a medical practice; and conducted an internal communications audit for the Markell Group.
Gilbert holds a Master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications Arts & Sciences from the same University.
