About Us
Company Overview
Edifice Rex is a strategic resource for businesses, government agencies, homeowner associations and private individuals who have responsibility for buildings of three stories or more. We provide quantifiable, reliable and actionable information enabling our clients to make more informed remediation decisions.
Edifice Rex keeps abreast of current and pending municipal, state and federal environmental regulations to ensure compliance. Our many strategic alliances enable us to access other related technologies which may be of interest to our clients.
How It Works
01
Start with a Free Consultation
The first step is for our team to understand the building(s) you are interested in auditing. You share any specific areas of concern and the Edifice Rex team obtains information about the building's history and issues that may have impacted it previously.
02
Edifice Rex Proposal
We'll deliver a custom proposal based on the building envelope size, location and scale. This will outline overall costs, processes and what the report will entail.
03
Drone Capture
Once our proposal is signed and deposit provided, our team will schedule our drone acquisitions team to capture images of the building's envelope, all reference photos and infrared scans. All building surfaces and roof are carefully mapped, down to the square inch.
04
Analysis and Findings
Our QEA Tech partners will feed all raw field data into our patented software system, analyze all field data and requisite reports.
05
Energy Audit Delivery
All 3-D scans are available online after the initial presentation along with a detailed presentation with findings and recommendations.
Applications
Almost every building type can benefit from a QEA Tech audit, including:
- Office buildings
- Government buildings
- Colleges/universities
- Condos/co-op associations
- Hotels
- Hospitals
- Industrial buildings
- Multi-residential buildings
- Historic structures
- And others
QEA Tech’s building envelope analysis is rapid, non-disruptive to tenants and guests, and can be performed under varying environmental conditions. Each client receives an individually tailored report. Drone flights with highly specialized cameras capture thousands of visual and thermal images…down to the square inch.
Patented software processes these images and creates a 3-D model of a building, which determines how much energy is being lost and calculates actual potential kilowatt and dollar savings achieved if corrective action is taken.
The written and visual report provides clients with the necessary information to make data-driven decisions regarding their building.
